| Make An Appointment? |
Please telephone our dedicated appointments line on 029 2079 9540 during the hours that the building is open. Requests for appointments can of course also be made by calling into reception during opening hours.
Morning Appointments
Routine and emergency appointments with the doctor are of 10 minutes duration and are available in the morning without a booked appointment on a first-come first-seen basis, with the next available doctor. We will, however, try to comply with your request to see a doctor of your choice.
Nurse Specialist
If you are requesting to be seen as an emergency you will be offered the option of seeing a specially trained specialist nurse. It will be helpful if you could state the nature of your problem.
Afternoon Appointments
Afternoon appointments are pre-bookable 10-minute appointments with a choice of doctor. We also offer some pre-booked appointments on certain mornings.
Telephone 'Consultations'
Please contact the surgery as soon as possible if you are unable to keep your appointment, so that it may be offered to another patient.
Cancellations
You may telephone the doctor (usually between 11.30am and 12.30pm) to discuss any problem and for advice.
Training And Teaching
Sometimes we also have medical students with us as part of their training course, but you will always be asked beforehand for your permission if a student is to be present.

| Obtain A Home Visit? |
Patients who require home visits should, wherever possible, make this request between 8.30 and 10.00am daily. The receptionist will ask for an idea of your problem - this information helps the doctors plan their home visits. If there is any degree of urgency please make this clear.

Please remember that home visits are restricted to those patients who cannot attend surgery for medical reasons and not for problems with transport. Your co-operation in coming to the surgery is much appreciated and benefits yourself and other patients, and minimises waiting times. (Please note, a doctor can see at least three patients in the surgery in the time it takes for a home visit.) |
